Polet Yonan has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church family since 1994. She has served as a Deacon Moderator for six years, served on Session as Elder for the Fellowship committee, on the Officers' Nominating Committee, as well as the Pastor's Nominating Committee. She is currently a co-chair of the Fellowship Committee and serves on Committee of Preparation of Ministry for the Sacramento Presbytery.

     Polet has been married for 31 years to a wonderful man, Michael, who is a high school teacher of 26 years. They have three beautiful children, Ashley(28), Emily(26), and Michael Jr.(23) who have been baptized and raised in this church.
